Blizzard labels this window “PST” but has not supplied opening or closing hours. We cannot yet give a reliable local time for Australia, New Zealand or other regions. The dates above stay as published; they do not mean midnight in your time zone.
Early character creation is confirmed. The final launcher selection and screen-by-screen instructions have not been published.
Any of the three digital editions listed here includes early reservation. Check the upgrade is applied to the WoW account you plan to use. Heroic qualifies even though it does not include beta access.
View upgrades on Battle.net ↗Forever uses two-part character names with uniqueness across a region. Prepare your preferred names and alternatives, and agree on a faction and ruleset with friends. Name length and punctuation rules are still unconfirmed.
Once Blizzard opens early character creation, create and customize up to 3 characters. Names go to whoever reserves them first; a purchase does not guarantee your preferred name. Gameplay begins at the full release.

Blizzard describes separate digital purchases as a way to access benefits sooner, with some qualifying purchases eligible for Battle.net Balance credit after the Collector’s Edition code is redeemed. That credit is conditional; confirm your edition and code status with Blizzard before buying twice.
